Gayatri Jayanti is celebrated to rejoice the
manifestation of Adi-Shakti Gayatri.
Gayatri is worshipped as Ved-Mata and the
manifest cause of the "Sristhi." This day
is also celebrated as the day of Ganaga
Avtaran and know as Ganaga Dashahara
